Q. How do you offer such low prices?
A. ColorPrinting4U.com offers commercial printing quality and low prices by Print Nesting and optimizing the volume of jobs which are produced daily. This enables you, the customer, the benefit of such volume saving you up to hundreds of dollars in comparison on your print items.
 

Q. Can I send you document created in MS Word?
A. We can use your MS Word files but make sure your text boxes do not overlap and your images are 300 dpi. We use print ready files from Graphics Programs and we can except .eps, .pdf, .tiff, .jpeg
 

Q. What other file formats can you take?
A. We can take any Mac or PC version of • Adobe Photoshop (.psd) • Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) • Adobe InDesign (.indd) • QuarkXpress (.qxd) • Corel Draw V12 (.cdr) • Freehand (.fhd) • Microsoft Publisher (.pub) • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt) • Microsoft Word (.doc) or a PDF and you should embed all fonts and images that were used for the job. 
 

Q. What types of storage media do you accept?
A. We can take your files on a CD, however, the normal procedure would be to upload your file when placing your order in step 6 of 6 to our ftp server via the web site.
 

Q. Can I order custom PMS Ink colors?
A. We offer customers the ability to print one additional PMS Spot color in addition to the full color process inks ( Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black).
You may choose these options after selecting the quantity of your print item on Step 1 of 6. Please call 866-606-3120 if you have any questions.

Q. What size do I make my artwork?
A.  Make your document / page size to have 1/8 inch bleed on all four sides, even if your page does not bleed, include that into your page size.
Example: 8.5 x 11 page would have a page size of 8.75 x 11.25.
Make your Document to the size of the print item, with bleed you are ordering. Do not place your 4.25 x 6 inch postcard on a 8.5 x 11 document size. Make your page to the size of your print item plus bleed.
 

Q. Do you print jobs that are different than the standard price list items that you offer?
A.  Yes. (If it is not on our price list on our web site, Contact Us or select the Custom Quote link at the top with the specs for you project.)
 

Q. Can I order multiple pieces in one order?
A. You can order multiple versions/sets of the same printed item and quantity as long as they ship to the same address. Please select the number of sets of your printed items from the drop down menu. i.e. 3 sets of business cards from one order will require you to select the number 3. When selecting multiple sets of a print item, all items must ship to same location per order.
 

Q. Can I divide a run of 5,000 business cards, postcards or fliers between 2 different designs?
A.  No. Our print runs are printed in the specified quantities.
 

Q. What kind of paper will my job be printed on?
A. Our house Cover stock is 14 point cover and our text weight is 100lb text.
 

Q. Will my job match what I see on my monitor?
A. You will be surprised how well your job matches what you see on your monitor. There are wide differences in monitor calibration and in the different technologies used, some printed colors may not exactly match the colors on your specific monitor. But please take note the way we offer fast turnaround and low pricing is by printing to a "pleasing color" standard, using standard ink densities.
 

Q. Will I get a proof?
A.   We will provide a soft proof, which is an on-line low resolution proof of your submitted files. We do not provide printed pre-production proofs.
 

Q. How long will it take to get my order?
A. Online Proofs will be submitted to you within 1-2 Business Days upon receipt of Print Ready Artwork. The following is the Ready to Ship Schedule based on normal business days from proof approval. Normal business days do not include holidays or weekends.

Shipping by UPS Ground takes from 1 to 5 days to arrive depending on your location. Select the UPS icon for a shipping estimate. Alternate shipping methods from UPS are available in Step 3 of 6, the shipping section of your order checkout.  

Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. All orders must be prepaid. In order for us to process your order promptly, you can pay with a credit card, using our VeriSign Secured System for your best security, a cashiers check or a money order.
